Good Hope Baptist Church cordially invites you to attend our 2020 Homecoming…in person or online. While 2020 will make history for all of the upheaval of a global pandemic, it also serves as a reminder to us that God is in control.
In order to plan and practice social distancing, there will be several adjustments for this year’s Homecoming:
-
The service will be live-streamed and can be viewed online by going to the “Sermons” page on our website.
-
If you plan to attend in person, please RSVP by Friday, September 18, 2020. You can do this by emailing the church at secretary@goodhopebaptist.com or you can call the church office at 843-365-6242. You are welcome to leave a message if no one is in the office. Our maximum capacity is 150, so we encourage you to let us know as soon as possible.
-
Unfortunately, we won’t be having our traditional Homecoming meal for safety reasons and in order to use our Christian Life Center as an extension of our sanctuary for viewing the service.
-
No childcare or children’s service will be available this year.
-
We will have plenty of special music, a time of remembrance and reflection for those that have gone to their eternal home this past year, and a sermon that God is helping to prepare even as you read this.
We recognize that while many of you would love to come and see everyone in person that you may have health concerns…and we understand…that’s why we are offering the service online.
For those that attend in person, we will practice social distancing and while masks are not mandatory, we encourage the use of them and urge you to bring your own.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding,
The Homecoming Committee
